Green Projects
All the leaves are brown and . . . therefore it’s time to think GREEN!
Green as in Trees.
Trees Atlanta that is.
Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped 2010 tree planting on February 27th.
There were over 40 trees planted in Barrett Park, on Rugby Avenue, in front of city hall and the library on the side of the Godby Road Recreation Center and by College Park residence. More than 60 volunteers from HCPNA, Trees Atlanta, Emory Outdoors and Hands on Atlanta made this all possible. Also thank you to Eileen Murphy and Rick Pierce for coordinating this project!
